These terms apply to gigfees and its calculators. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please don’t use the site.

Results are estimates

The calculators estimate what you keep after platform fees, withdrawal fees, currency conversion and the tax rate you enter. They use the fees published on each platform’s or provider’s official pages on the date shown next to each fee, and they use example values where a fee is not published (those are markedUnverified).

Real payouts can differ. Platforms set fees per contract, per country or per account; payment providers change their exchange rates and fees; and some charges (fees charged by your own bank, intermediary bank fees, promotions) are not included. Your platform statement and your provider’s quote at the time of the transaction are the final word.

Not financial, tax or legal advice

Nothing on gigfees is financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice. The tax field is a single percentage you choose and does not apply any country’s tax rules. For decisions about pricing, tax or your obligations as a freelancer, talk to a qualified professional where you live.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, free of charge. We try to keep every number correct and current, but we make no promise that the content is accurate, complete or up to date, or that the site will always be available or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, gigfees and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its results, including lost income, mispriced work or tax owed. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Trademarks and no affiliation

Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer.com, PayPal, Payoneer, Wise and other names mentioned on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. gigfees is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Their names are used only to identify the services whose published fees we describe, and no logos are used.

Links to other sites

Fees link to the official pages they were taken from so you can check them. Those sites are run by others; we are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

Using the site

You are welcome to use the calculators for your own work and to link to any page. Please don’t try to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, or copy it wholesale and present it as your own.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. The “last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies.
